All righty, this is going to be a short one. Just a few pictures for you.
Well, yesterday, my lovely boyfriend brought me to a Star Wars exhibit up in St. Paul. And I was thrilled. If you are at all into Star Wars, you'll understand how AWESOME it was. I got to see props, costumes, and other things used in the real moves. Everything from the Millenium Falcon to Obi-Wan's costume. Amazing. (CLICK LINK BELOW TO READ THE REST!)
There was a society of people there who are really into Star Wars and have actually created their own outfits that look exactly like characters from the movie. Unfortunately, Darth Vader seemed to keep sneaking away from me. I would have LOVED to have a picture with him. But I still got a picture with a Storm Trooper. (I asked him if I could get a picture, and he said, "You betcha." Never heard a ST with a Minnesoooootan accent before, hehe.)
Anyway, we got out to the car, and I was gushing to Jordan afterward. I immediately wanted to flip through my pictures, and I got to the one of the Storm Trooper and myself. I saw it, and said, "Whoa. Is that me?"
I don't want to think I'm just noticing too much, but I was shocked at how my figure has changed in the past couple of months.
Next, we headed to the Mall of America to meet up with my family. And I HAD to hit up Old Navy. If you didn't know, they had a HUGE denim sale yesterday. $12 for all adult denim. It was madness. The only style of jeans I have ever actually loved is their "Flirt" style. Mid-rise with a boot-cut. Love 'em, love 'em, love 'em. Even though I bought a pair last week because my other ones were falling off, I indulged in a couple of pairs. I bought a 14 (the size I'm in now) and a 12 (the ones I have a bit to go before I fit in.
I got home, and I decided to break out my old 16's in order to do a comparison. Here's a picture Jordan took of me with my old jeans and my new ones.

And a little bit closer up, you can see there's actually a significant difference. It shocked me just to get that kind of perspective on what I've been doing! Hurray!

Okay, like I said, that's a short one. Nothing terribly exciting, but those things are thrilling for me.
Now if I could just get over this damn plateau. The scale will not change from 176.5. BOO!
